QIT’s community involvement has evolved over the years. After initially concentrating on promoting sports and setting up recreation facilities in Sorel-Tracy and Havre-Saint-Pierre, the company began to invest more in initiatives to improve the local quality of life, supporting cultural organizations and forging partnerships that have lasted for several decades.

For many years, QIT has also supported community and health organizations that aim to improve healthcare and aid the disadvantaged. More recently, the environment has become a prime focus of attention, and QIT has created long-term partnerships with recognized nature conservation and natural heritage associations.
