Change is an inherent part of today’s challenges, and
training is one of the strategies QIT adopts to face this
reality.
A team of enthusiastic instructors, working together with
competent outside partners, oversees continuing education
for the company. On average, every employee receives more
than 45 hours of training annually in order to improve
skills in such areas as process operation, computers,
safety, and environmental management. A host of highly
developed teaching tools support their learning. The
rotary furnace simulator, used to train
beneficiation plant operators and technicians, is just one
example.
Moreover, any employees wishing to enhance their
knowledge in their field can take advantage of QIT’s
Financial Aid Program for professional development.
